Tsuki Defender

A semi-realistic newtonian physic arcade game where you use a gravity gun to thwart alien attacks to Tsuki (the Moon).

Instructions

WASD - Accelerate the player ship in one of the cardinal directions

Left Mouse Button - activate gravity gun pull beam
Right Mouse Button - activate gravity gun  push beam

Mouse - aim the gravity gun beam

Goal

Survive 10 increasingly difficult enemy waves. A wave is cleared when all enemies have been destroyed. To destroy an enemy you can: capture it and fling it to accelerate it towards the dark side of the moon, push enemies which have managed to land safely on the moon to crush them to smithereens.  You can also pluck landed enemies by pulling them from the surface and then redirect them towards the hard surface.

History - Lore

Tsuki is made of cheese and its smell has attracted the unwanted presence of hungry invaders. Tsuki's sun-lit half is made of soft cheese and it's very vulnerable to collisions with fast aliens. Slow moving aliens are also dangerous because they can land and munch the yummy fromage. Fortunately the dark side of Tsuki is hard and can resist any impact from fast aliens while slow aliens rebound on it.

I was super confused at first with the controls and flinging, but once you get the hang of it, the game becomes a neat little sandbox for you play cosmic alien billiard with! Enemy variety is there, even if mostly comes down to “mass” but that is more than enough! Sfx and mx was cool no complaints there and overall it had a nice atmosphere!
